BIO

I grew up in the little town of Wheaton, MN, but currently live in Chokio, MN. Ever since I was little, I have had a passion for space planning and making a space more functional. While my ideas weren't always adopted, my parents never stopped supporting and encouraging me to pursue my dream of becoming an interior designer. In May of 2014, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.
For 4.5 years, I worked at Design Direction, an interior design company in Fargo, ND., where I worked on many types of projects - new homes, remodels, commercial projects, and small scale updates. Computerized drawings, space planning, and material selection are my favorite parts of a project. During my time in Fargo, I enjoyed furthering my knowledge base while gaining experience in the interior design profession. I enjoy residential design most because I love working with homeowners and being able to see their project through from start to finish and experiencing their reactions every step of the way! Now that I am back in my hometown area, I’m thrilled to be able to offer my interior design services to my community members!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with Brett and Lyla, my husband and daughter, family, and friends. Cooking, baking, and fixing up our little farmhouse are a few hobbies I enjoy when I get the chance. Our little girl keeps us QUITE busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
